Choblert
Senor Choblert, at least on the bullfighting scene, has always been a legend. Never far away from a major event, his sponsorship ensured the great entertainment continued to flourish. His ideas and contributions have sold many an arena, packed tight with faces contorted in gramaces of glee. On the other end of the spectrum, he was not a man to be trifled with. Competitors were left in the dust, hospitalised or disappeared entirely. This was around the time several members of La Policia moved into the good neighbourhoods. Choblert was never one for the spotlights, but lately he has shied away from the cirquit and delved deeper into shadow. His newfound venture would monopolise his time and resources like never before. It was the birth of Jones Comix.
Not many know, or wish to believe that Jones Comix was the brainchild of this very man. Indeed, way back when in 19XX, Choblert drew, copied and distributed the comic by himself, altough it was very different to the format presented to you today. They were snailed together using boogaloo wax, much unlike the modern method of folding and stapling. To fill the page count he had his employee rifle through dustbins and mailboxes all over the city. A few days and many rejected/incinerated drawings later the hapless worker slapped a few scraps of crud covered doodles onto his desk. The doodles were signed Skag, and the rest is how we say it "history".
As the popularity Jones Comix grew so did it's tight circle of gentlemen. Choblert was rarely available for comment but apparently never regretted leaving the bullfighting malarkey. The only picture available of him was this photograph of a black velvet portrait painting in his mansion.
